As we start up another semester, we couldn’t be more excited to be welcoming back more students to the Library.
Study space is now available on all floors of the Library with our updated maximum of 900 people taking into account social distancing and safe hygiene practices. Before you arrive, please read about visiting the library for information about using our space. We still have precautions in place to make sure every trip you take here is a safe one.
As always, you can check our Twitter Account for updates on building capacity and the occasional appearance from our unofficial Library cat.
We are also pleased to announce that browsing access to our print collection will be restored on September 7. As a result, online access to in-copyright materials available through the HathiTrust Emergency Temporary Access Service will be discontinued as of that date. You will still be able to use HathiTrust to access the full-text of 4.3 million volumes works that are in the public domain.
Assistance from our expert staff and access to our vast collection of online journals, books, and films will continue online even as we open more broadly.
Since the start of the public health crisis, the library has demonstrated that our team of dedicated staff have the expertise to serve students and faculty under any circumstance. If you have feedback, please feel free to contact us.
We can’t wait to see you,
Amber Lannon University Librarian
