Description

This collection contains four volumes of materials published by political parties on both sides of the racial and ideological divide of apartheid in South Africa from 1948 through 1994.

The bulk of the documents are drawn from the archives of the African National Congress (ANC). The National Party is also represented, as are several minor parties and independent candidates. Documents discuss South Africa, the United Kingdom, the United States, Israel, and Angola.

The resource was prepared by the Institute for Commonwealth Studies at the University of London and has been digitized directly from the original, physical archive.
