Provides access to scholarly literature from many disciplines and sources.

Indexes peer reviewed articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other websites.

By accessing via Carleton Library, you will be able to connect to the fulltext articles that are part of the library's collection.

Important Details: 

Some users have reported seeing one of the following errors when using Google Scholar to access library resources:

  • "ERROR for site owner: Invalid domain for site key"
  • "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. Please try your request again later."

This is related to Google Scholar's interactions with our proxy server. 

If you experience this error, you can set up this workaround:

  • In Google Scholar under Settings click Library Links
  • Search for Carleton. and in the list that appears, select Carleton University - Get it @ Carleton (Omni). Make sure that MacOdrum Library, Carleton University - Get it @Carleton U is not selected.
  • Click Save
