Requesting Videos for a Course

Faculty and Instructors:
All video or film requests for course material can be sent to Library Reserves. Please note that acquiring streaming rights can take a lot of time and in some cases may not be possible depending on the rightsholder. Ensure that you submit your requests with advanced notice.

Kanopy
A streaming service that provides a platform for educational video products covering a wide range of subjects, from arts, humanities, health, business, education, and more.

Films-on-Demand
Online streaming video collection that provides unlimited access to thousands of videos in numerous subject areas. These video can be added to online catalogs, distance education courses, and learning management systems. Includes captioning with interactive and searchable transcripts on all titles.

Audio Cine Films
Wide selection of streaming feature films. Works with Google Chrome browser. Other browsers require third party plug in.

NFB.ca
Watch films produced by the National Film Board of Canada. Includes historical films dating back to 1928 to current contemporary releases, including award-winning documentaries, animation and fiction.

Criterion On Demand
Criterion-on-Demand is an online digital delivery feature film platform intended to provide easy access to educationally relevant feature films used in Canadian Higher Education Institutions.

Curio
Curio.ca provides streaming access to educational video and audio content from CBC and Radio-Canada.

Digital Theatre Plus
A digital streaming video collection of unique films of current, leading British theatre productions, musicals, and operas.

McIntyre Media
Playlist of films available to Carleton users.

Psychotherapy.net Video Library
Psychotherapy.net is a streaming service that provides a platform for training videos in the fields of Psychotherapy, Counseling and Social Work.
