Sometimes you want to use a tool or function in ArcGIS Pro but the option is greyed out or you get an error message. This usually means that the extension you need isn't turned on. Here's how to fix it.
- Find out which extension you need to turn on. Use the ArcGIS Pro Tool Reference page to search for the tool you want to use and it should tell you which extension is required in the description.
