Africa Commons: History, Society, and Culture is a new database that indexes African organizations, collections, and documents from openly available sites worldwide- It currently has 300,000 digital cultural artifacts chosen from more than 2100 collections, including books, magazines, comics, photographs, music, maps, letters, and diaries. Featured content includes Speak Magazine, HK Banda Archives, Mighty Man Comics, Genocide Archive of Rwanda, Commemorative African Fabrics, Anti-Apartheid Ephemera, Political Speeches, Nigerian Music, and more.
