Error Messages in ProQuest Databases

Many people are seeing "Session Ended" or other error messages when they try to access ProQuest databases such as PsycINFO, Canadian Newsstream, or Sociological Abstracts. Here are some options for removing that error:

  • Enable cookies on your internet browser
  • Clear your browser history and cookies
  • Try a different internet browser 
  • If off-campus, you may want to connect to the database through remote access

If none of these options work, please fill out a Connection Problems form and let us know you have tried all of these so we don't waste your time suggesting them to you again.
