Google Scholar

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is multidisciplinary and contains different sources of information: "articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites."

When using Google Scholar on-campus, a GetIT button will appear next to items that are available in the library.

When off-campus, Google Scholar doesn't link to the library resources. However you can link Google Scholar to the library resources. To make sure you see the "Get It @ Carleton U" links within Google Scholar, open “Settings”, select “Library Links” and confirm that “MacOdrum Library, Carleton University – Get It @ Carleton U” is selected. You may need to search for Carleton University, and turn on cookies.
