Filter Bubbles

A filter bubble is created by the application of an algorithm to your search results based on, among other things, yours search history, click pattern, and location.  It provides a personalized view of the internet but also a limited view of internet; one that looks just like you. 

To find relevant information, we need to be mindful of how search engines work and be aware of filter bubbles.
