General Collection

The print collection is now open for browsing and selecting items to check out at the Library Services Desk.

Items that have been requested through Omni from our collection or other library collections will still continue to be picked up through the curbside or mail delivery services. Requests cannot be picked up at the Library Services Desk at this time. Presently, the curbside and mailing service is only available for current Carleton students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

Login to your library account to on Omni to request materials. You can also find what you have borrowed, due dates, and to renew your materials.

We are accepting returns. Book drops are accessible in the foyer and in exterior slot on Library Road.

If a book has been recalled from you, please return it as soon as possible or contact us for other return options.

Course Reserves

The physical course reserves collection is open. Print items may be available for courses listed as "In person not available for online learners" in the public class schedule. Instructors and students can access a list of course materials, including print and electronic materials, through Ares. Currently, items on physical reserve can be checked out at the Library Services Desk.

DVDs

DVDs are available through the curbside pick-up and mailing service.

Emerging Technology Collection

Our Emerging Technology Collection is available for curbside pick-up only for current faculty, staff and students of Carleton University.

Games

Video games are available through the curbside pick-up and mailing service.

Board games are available for curbside pick-up only.

Interlibrary Loans

Interlibrary loan is currently open and able to fulfill requests for materials. Please submit all requests on your RACER account.

Maps

Submit a request for map scanning or contact gis@carleton.ca for additional support using the maps and cartographic collections.

Music CDs

Music CDs are available through the curbside pick-up and mailing service.

Microfiche & Microfilm

Available on Floor 2 of the library when the building is open. Please see Library Service desk for staff assistance if the library is open.
