The print collection is only available through curbside pickup and mailing service and HathiTrust Temporary Access Service. The library stacks are closed and there is no in-person access to the physical collections in the building. Presently, the curbside and mailing service is only available for current Carleton students, faculty, and staff.

We are accepting returns. Book drops are accessible in the foyer, by the tunnel entrance, and in exterior slot on Library Road. Please note because of book handling procedures, returned materials will remain on your Omni account for 96 hours.
Overdue fines were not charged during the library's pandemic closure, and are not being charged now that we are partially open. We are not currently accepting fine payment at the library service desk.
Archives and Special Collections
The physical course reserves collection is closed. Instructors and students can access course materials electronically through Ares.
DVDs are available through the curbside pickup and mailing service.
Emerging Technology Collection
Our Emerging Technology Collection is available for curbside pickup only.
Video games are available through the curbside pickup and mailing service.
Board games are available for curbside pickup only.
Interlibrary loan is currently suspended for all physical books. We are continuing to fulfill interlibrary loan (RACER) requests for articles if we can find digital copies. Please expect significant delays.
Music CDs are available through the curbside pickup and mailing service.
