Changes to Library services during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Renew in person at the Library Services Desk (bring the material with you) or online through your Library Account.

Check your Library Account to ensure that all materials were renewed successfully and confirm your new due dates.

Number of Renewals

Up to 5 renewals are permitted for most materials, exceptions:

  • Items signed out for a 120-day loan period: 1 renewal.
  • Videos and video games: 2 renewals.
  • Laptops: 6 renewals
  • Course reserves: No renewals.

Common Problems

Your renewal request will be denied if

  • a hold has been placed on an item. It must be returned to the Library Services Desk on or before the due date.
  • you have a library fine over $10.00 (for Carleton borrowers) or any fine (for outside borrowers).
