Laptops

Changes to Library services during the COVID-19 lockdown.

Due dates have been extended for students who have already borrowed a laptop.

We offer approximately 80 Windows Laptops for you to borrow. 

Current Carleton University students, staff, and faculty in good standing ($10 or less in fines on their account) may register for the laptop loan program at the ITS Service Desk, located on the 4th floor of the library.

Types of Laptop

There are approximately 80 Windows Laptops available to borrow, all with the same software available on public computers in the library.

Borrowing a Laptop

Bring your campus card  to staff at the ITS Service Desk. A message in your account will indicate that you are registered for the program, and a laptop will be issued to you along with a power cord and a carrying case.

Laptops can be borrowed for a 24 hour period , with an option to renew the loan 6 times either by visiting the ITS Service Desk on the 4th floor of the MacOdrum Library or online at https://catalogue.library.carleton.ca/patroninfo.
