Services for Graduate Students

  • Interlibrary Loans: ILL service is currently available, however due to libraries operating with limited capacity at this time, users may see longer than normal turnaround times before receiving materials. Requests should be submitted through RACER. Please email any questions to racer@library.carleton.ca.
  • Graduate Study Spaces: Graduate Study Spaces will not be offered in Winter 2021. Due to the closure of the Library, return of keys for graduate study rooms from 2019/20 will be postponed to a later date. No fines will be incurred.
  • Professional Skills Workshops: The Library offers a slate of professional research skills workshops. Events are co-sponsored by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Affairs.
    • NVivo: Introduction to a qualitative data analysis tool. See how NVivo can help you keep your research project organized. Learn how to create projects and import a wide variety of data types (text, audio, video, social media).
  • Citation Management: Explore some of the many available tools that help you manage and organize the references you gather during your research.
  • Scholarly Communications: Resources for authors and researchers.
  • Open Access: Resources for authors and researchers, including depositing your research data in Dataverse.
