Students referred by the Paul Menton Centre have access to adaptive technology in the New Sun Joy Maclaren Adaptive Technology Centre.

We provide ten workstations with specialized hardware and software, including:
- Large screen monitors
- Adjustable-height computer tables
- Voice recognition
- Screen magnification
- Screen reading

Student Attendants are available to help you with accessibility and adaptive technology from September to the end of April:
• Monday to Thursday: 10:00am to 11:30pm.
• Friday: 10:00am to 4:00pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 12 noon to 5:00pm.
Student Attendants available from May to the end of August:
• Monday – Thursday: 11:00am to 6:00pm
• Friday: 11:00am – 4:00pm
In-depth instruction is available on all adaptive devices and software by appointment.
A wheelchair is available in the New Sun Joy Maclaren Centre for library use only. Note that this wheelchair is also used when staff members, faculty, or patrons, need assistance leaving the library due to injury or illness, and for visitors with reduced mobility.
